About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatric Radiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our paediatric radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services for children and young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver secondary and tertiary paediatric imaging services, working closely with our existing team to provide comprehensive care for our patients.
  • Develop and maintain a sub-specialty interest in paediatric radiology, contributing to the advancement of our department's expertise and services.
  • Participate in the delivery of emergency paediatric imaging services, including plain film reporting, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and interventional procedures as necessary.

Person Specification
  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or eligibility for specialist registration within six months of interview.
  • Experience of thorough and broad training and experience in relevant specialty, with the ability to take responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision.
  • Knowledge of leading multidisciplinary team meetings and up-to-date knowledge and experience of relevant specialty.
