Consultant Radiologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our dynamic team at an NHS University Hospital in Bristol, South West England. As a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Gynecological Radiology, you will be responsible for providing a tertiary level radiology service to the region.

The Radiology department has 28 whole time equivalent consultant radiologists (adult and paediatric) who provide a comprehensive radiology service. The department operates an Insignia PACS and HSS 'CRIS' radiology information system, and the new appointee will be expected to use a voice recognition system for reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a tertiary level radiology service to the region
  • Work closely with the Radiology Specialist Trainees (STs) to ensure a smooth on-call rota
  • Contribute to the development of the Radiology department and its services
  • Participate in the School of Radiology and provide educational supervision to the STs
