Your new role:

As the Estimating Lead, you will manage an established and growing team to provide a comprehensive estimating and cost modelling service for the client's portfolio. This role will lead the development and implementation of cost estimating and modelling processes and procedures, training people in these required standards, and delivery against them.

Key responsibilities:
  • Experienced in programme controls and cost estimating for major projects.
  • With a deep understanding of cost estimation, scheduling, and change management.
  • Holds memberships or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Association of Cost Engineers ACostE).
  • Proficient in cost estimation techniques, tools, and MS Office.
  • Skilled in risk analysis for realistic cost and time forecasts.
  • Analyses complex cost models and defines cost assumptions.
  • Adaptable under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
Desired skills:
  • Degree or HND or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying or other related field is advantageous.
  • Experience providing estimating and modelling services in a highly regulated environment.
