Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead our health and safety efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising all departments on health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and developing policies and procedures to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise all departments on health and safety matters and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in the care industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
