Your Role

As a Business Journalist specializing in Telecoms, Media, and Technology (TMT) mergers, you will be responsible for reporting on TMT companies coming to market. You will establish relationships with M&A bankers, advisors, and lawyers to gain access to exclusive news on prospective sales progressions ahead of the market.

This fast-paced role requires a proactive and persuasive journalist with a demonstrated interest in M&A.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a network of M&A professionals to break stories ahead of your competitors.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of journalists, potentially working across borders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a financial journalist or covering TMT sectors.
  • A proven track record of scooping news stories and a strong enthusiasm for M&A processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a persuasive personality.
