Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a skilled Relief Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services in Cambridge. As a Relief Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding our client's site, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and contractors.
Your duties will include conducting internal and external foot patrols, overseeing access control, and keeping a watchful eye for anything suspicious. You will also provide excellent customer service, guidance, and support while maintaining top-notch security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard our client's site and ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Conduct internal and external foot patrols and oversee access control.
- Provide excellent customer service, guidance, and support.
- Take charge in any challenging situations until external support arrives.
- Ensure health and safety standards are upheld and record and report hazards promptly.
Requirements:
- A valid SIA Licence.
- Ability to travel to site within 45 minutes.
- Flexibility to cover a variety of shifts (days, nights, weekends).
- Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history (enhanced screening required).
- Strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a keen eye for detail.
- Computer literate - able to use basic IT systems.
