Performance Optimization Expert

In Arm's Central Technology Systems group, we define SoC and subsystem architectures and technology roadmaps across multiple sectors, including premium mobile, infrastructure, and automotive.
We seek a performance expert to join this dynamic team and further strengthen its capabilities.
The ideal candidate will work in small teams, making significant contributions.
Key Responsibilities- Define SoC and subsystem performance and analysis requirements.
- Collaborate with system architects, designers, IP teams, and analysis teams.
- Engage with specialists across Arm, from modelling, RTL, FPGA, Silicon, and software.
- Explore and challenge the limits of IP and system performance capabilities.
- At least 4 years of SoC architecture, SoC, and/or SW performance analysis experience.
- Understanding of computer architecture and microarchitecture concepts, such as cache hierarchy, memory access efficiency, multi-core architecture, and key performance metrics.
- Passion for analysis and improvement.
- Capable of working both in teams and independently.
- High degree of initiative and a confident problem solver.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communicator, able to work at both detailed and high levels.
