Job Overview

Hays Health & Safety is partnering with a growing company based in Greater Manchester to find a qualified QSHE advisor.

About the Role

You will join a team of 5 HSQE advisors reporting to the HSQE manager, requiring effective communication across all business levels and driving continuous improvement in Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental work practices.

  • Conduct trend analysis, manage incidents, investigate findings, and determine next steps.
Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate, you must be motivated and passionate about Health and Safety, upholding environmental and quality standards at all times. You will also be a confident communicator at all levels.

You will have extensive experience in supervisory HSQE positions, preferably within the construction sector. A NEBOSH certificate in Construction Health and Safety and a NEBOSH/IEMA environmental qualification are highly desirable. Membership of IOSH is also recommended.

A working knowledge of construction regulations and the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to change are essential skills for this role.

Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated professional with:

  • Extensive experience in supervisory HSQE roles.
  • Prior experience in the construction sector.
  • NEBOSH certification in Construction Health and Safety.
  • NEBOSH/IEMA environmental qualification (desired).
  • IOSH membership (recommended).
  • Strong understanding of construction regulations.
What We Offer

The salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
