We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Theatre Team as a Theatre Matron/Manager. This permanent position offers a great opportunity for a passionate and dedicated professional to lead our theatre services and deliver high-quality patient care.

Our Trust aims to provide the highest quality care to patients within Derbyshire and South East Staffordshire. We believe that our theatre teams play a vital role in achieving this goal, and we are committed to supporting them in their careers.

This role is accountable through their teams for overseeing and monitoring the quality and timeliness of patient care in accordance with relevant professional standards. The successful candidate will have significant experience and knowledge of working clinically in an operating theatre environment, as well as managing large teams and budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all staff in areas of responsibility practice in accordance with statutory and corporate policies, including those specific to operating departments.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience.
