We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Chislehurst Neurological Rehabilitation Centre. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for providing assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders, devising evidence-led therapy programmes, and participating in service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
- Devise evidence-led therapy programmes at a specialist level
- Participate in service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure all relevant codes of practice and regulations are upheld
- Participate in internal training and development opportunities
- Develop skills in clinical supervision and informal mentoring
- Named Therapist duties to ensure cohesive goal setting and therapy coordination
- HCPC registration
- Specialist level dysphagia competency on RCSLT framework
- Experience in this specialist clinical area, including evidence of post-graduate training
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Able to demonstrate initiative and creativity
- An excellent interpersonal worker, maintaining consistent and effective workplace relationships
