Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Chislehurst Neurological Rehabilitation Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage communication and swallowing disorders in adults with acquired neurological impairments
  • Develop and implement evidence-led therapy programs to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive goal setting and therapy coordination
  • Participate in service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide clinical supervision and informal mentoring to Speech and Language Therapy Assistants and students
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration
  • Specialist level dysphagia competency on RCSLT framework
  • Experience in this specialist clinical area, including evidence of post-graduate training in working with people with acquired neurological impairments
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and creativity
  • An excellent interpersonal worker, maintaining consistent and effective workplace relationships
