About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Lifeguard to join our team at Kings Camps in Cardiff. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of swim sessions for children aged 5-17 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe delivery of swim sessions, working alongside a qualified swimming teacher
- Supervise children during swim sessions, maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment
- Conduct regular safety checks and report any incidents or concerns to the Camp Manager
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
- Current Lifeguard qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coach (NRASTC)
- At least 6 months' Lifeguard experience
- Able to conduct a depth test at the venue
- A passion for developing children's water confidence
- Vibrant, resilient, team player
