Stress Engineer Opportunity

CBSButler is seeking a skilled Stress Engineer to join our Design team in Kidderminster. As a hybrid available role, you will have the flexibility to work from home or our office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing new and existing rocket motor systems, including structural and thermal analysis using FEA software. You will also be expected to develop motor structural test plans and participate in the delivery and assessment of structural testing results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural and thermal analysis of rocket motor designs using FEA software.
  • Develop and implement motor structural test plans.
  • Collaborate with the technical community to validate and verify FEA models.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in ABAQUS software and experience with CAD modeling.
  • Strong understanding of material science and rheological analysis.
