Senior Delivery Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of IT projects across our organization. As a key member of our IT Delivery Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, managing a team of Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters, and driving the maturity of delivery management practices across the teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters to deliver IT projects
  • Develop and implement best practices for delivery management across the organization
  • Own the delivery roadmap for the IT portfolio, ensuring dependencies and forward planning are managed effectively
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the delivery teams, identifying areas for improvement and innovation
  • Lead the Scrum of Scrums, identifying and owning portfolio-level risks and issues, and ensuring visibility across the technology leadership team
  • Mentor and coach the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Define the delivery function vision and goals, ensuring alignment with Group Technology objectives

Requirements:

  • 10 years' experience in senior delivery management roles
  • Background in delivering technology in customer-facing industries
  • Experience with using SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks
  • Strong talent management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and team motivation
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships at all levels of the organization
