Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable respiratory nurse to join our team as a Clinical Practice Educator. This exciting opportunity will enable you to support and develop our nursing teams, enhancing patient care and ensuring compliance with mandatory training.

Main Duties
  • Develop and deliver teaching packages to all grades of staff
  • Support and develop staff competency across a range of clinical skills
  • Provide accurate training records and ensure staff are up to date with all mandatory and essential to role training
  • Work closely with ward managers and specialist services to support induction and training of staff
Person SpecificationEssential Criteria
  • Current NMC registration
  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Recent experience of teaching and mentoring
Desirable Criteria
  • Teaching qualification

  • Leadership experience at a senior level
  • Proficiency with office systems and computers
  • Able to demonstrate effective communication skills
