Care Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Care Co-ordinator to join our team at a leading care home in the Diss, Ipswich area.
This exceptional care home provides high-quality care and support to residential, respite, and dementia individuals, and we are seeking a dedicated professional to work closely with our team to deliver exceptional care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the care team to maintain the personal care of residents, promoting independence and dignity.
- Ensure that care services are consistently provided to a high standard, adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Assist in the care of the resident's physical environment and participate in general day-to-day activities of the home.
- In the absence of the home manager, assume responsibility for the running of the home and the wellbeing of staff and residents.
- Organize shifts, administer and record medication, liaise with health professionals, and update resident care plans.
- Support the induction, training, and supervision of support staff.
- Assist residents with limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties, utilizing mobility aids and personal equipment provided.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in supervising a care team and demonstrating empathy and understanding of resident needs.
- Good leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and show a can-do attitude.
