Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees using Bright Pay software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Calculate salaries, wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, as well as prepare and submit payroll tax returns, including P45s, P60s, and P11Ds.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations, including auto-enrolment for pensions, and maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.
  • Generate payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders, and handle payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Assist the finance team with various tasks, such as month-end and year-end close processes related to payroll, invoicing, and ad hoc administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, with a strong understanding of UK payroll practices and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to perform payroll calculations, including family leaves and tax calculations.
  • Highly motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team, with good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and proficient user of Excel.
