Job Description

**Job Title:** Part Time Payroll Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Pensions Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis for 20-24 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and administration, including:

  • Processing and administering payroll, including statutory payments and occupational maternity pay
  • Maintaining and updating employee records on the payroll system
  • Liaising with staff and management on payroll-related queries
  • Interpreting awards and agreements in relation to overtime, shift allowances, and other benefits
  • Undertaking required reporting, both internal and statutory

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll and relevant legislation, as well as excellent numerical and data entry skills. They will also be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and prioritize and manage a heavy workload.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Process and administer payroll, including statutory payments and occupational maternity pay
  • Maintain and update employee records on the payroll system
  • Liaise with staff and management on payroll-related queries
  • Interpret awards and agreements in relation to overtime, shift allowances, and other benefits
