Early Years Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teacher to join our team at Bright Horizons Rose Cottage Day Nursery and Preschool in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

About the Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of our children. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a stimulating and inspiring environment that promotes children's development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging learning activities that meet the needs of our children
  • Assess and record children's progress, using this information to inform future planning
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in their child's learning
  • Contribute to the development of our nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with our values and standards
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall management of the nursery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification Previous experience working within the Early Years sector A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child The ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
