About the Role

The Technical Lead - Electrical will be responsible for supporting onshore and offshore project operations, providing technical expertise in the completion of all technical deliverables and ensuring that project activities are performed in accordance with internal, client, and HS&E specific procedures and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing scope of work for AUV Fleet opportunities, preparing method statements, specifications, calculations, technical qualifications, and drawings focused on the electrical trade to support commercial tendering.
  • Development of electrical specifications for and the management of the technical execution of 3rd Party engineering services in support of project or internal technical/engineering support.
  • Delivery of all project-generated documentation that supports the project, including project-specific procedures, task plans, project plans, and risk assessments for project activities.
  • Feasibility evaluation of planned operations, including participation in HAZID/HAZOP.
  • Effective management of daily project support operations, keeping project/operations management routinely informed of project status and all/any developments that impact schedule, cost, safety, and reputation through regular project reporting.
  • Design and engineering of special or modified equipment with an electrical bias.
  • Expediting of vendor and outsourced project services.
  • To work co-operatively and productively with others to reflect departmental and organization priorities, ensuring maximum use of project resources, technical integrity, operational efficiency, quality assurance, safe, and successful completion of projects.
  • Effective client liaison, strongly managing commercial and reputation risk issues, and acting as the main client contact for day-to-day project operations in the absence of the Project Manager.
  • To assist in the development/improvement of technical and business processes.
  • Functional reporting line to Project Manager in relation to project engineering activities.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a HND or higher in an engineering discipline, professional accreditation of IEng or above with a recognized institution, and experience in delivering engineering support in the offshore arena or another transferable industry.
