SEND Teaching and Learning Specialist

Job Description:
TeacherActive is recruiting a highly motivated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support students in various educational settings. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans, promoting desirable behaviors and skills in students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs
- Collaborating with teachers to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and behavior
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualified or a minimum of 6 months' experience in an educational setting
- Good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
