Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of children with complex developmental speech and language disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulties, learning difficulties, and sensory impairments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage a caseload of children with complex developmental speech and language disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulties, learning difficulties, and sensory impairments.
  • Work collaboratively with education staff and the multi-disciplinary team to deliver a holistic service to children with sensory impairments.
  • Utilise comprehensive assessments to form diagnoses and plan interventions. Deliver SLT interventions at school, home, or clinic as needed.
  • Liaise with families to clarify roles, provide knowledge, and support parents in understanding and aiding their child's communication needs.
  • Engage in ongoing CPD, with access to a protected training budget, and contribute to training programs for families and staff.
  • Support service improvements through audit and research and help implement clinical protocols.
Requirements:
  • A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy, HCPC registered, and member of RCSLT.
  • Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience, including work with children with a wide range of speech, language, and communication difficulties.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
