Administrative Assistant

Job Description

The Department of Safety Office seeks an Administrative Assistant to serve as the point of contact for the campus community and visitors. This part-time position is responsible for administrative support tasks, including word processing, managing files and records.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Department of Safety Office point of contact for the campus community and visitors.
  • Oversight of employee parking, permits, registrations, assignments, and data entry.
  • Provide excellent customer care and service to the campus community.
  • Receive and screen incoming telephone calls, providing information, and scheduling appointments.
  • Assist with public events planning, room reservations, and catering services.
  • Assist with departmental logistical matters, including budgeting and ordering office supplies.

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Interpersonal and human relation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to learn campus software.
  • Valid driver's license and personal insurance.
