Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Major Recruitment Sunderland. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various manufacturing equipment within a busy factory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Install and commission new machinery as part of process change projects or CAPEX projects.
Requirements:
- Qualified mechanical maintenance technician with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and piping systems.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Good level of IT literacy.
