Deputy Store Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of the store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of retail staff to achieve sales and performance targets
- Managing store standards, including stock control, visual merchandising, and store appearance
- Handling customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
- Collaborating with the Store Manager to implement sales strategies and promotions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year's management experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
- A passion for delivering high standards and great results
