Job Title: Contract Commercial Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced paralegal to join our Legal Services Team (LST) in the UK. The successful candidate will report to a senior lawyer based in the EMEA region and will be responsible for providing legal support to colleagues and clients globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage legal risks across business units
  • Support senior lawyers and legal teams in GCO, primarily across the EMEA region
  • Provide legal support in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements and legal documents
  • Conduct legal research on behalf of GCO colleagues
  • Assist on projects including regulatory horizon scanning and contract reviews
  • Support internal governance and approval processes
Requirements:
  • Experienced paralegal in commercial contracts
  • Fluency in French, German, Italian, or Spanish is beneficial but not required
  • In-house experience in financial services is preferred
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and work as part of a team or autonomously under time pressure
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, reliably, and persuasively with clients, business stakeholders, and external regulators
