About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing holistic, relevant, and functional support to children and professionals in our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver innovative models of working in a welcoming, fun, and supportive environment to meet the needs of children and professionals.
  • Provide expert clinical supervision to Speech and Language Therapy students and contribute to project work associated with developing and evaluating new services.
  • Work collaboratively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, alternative providers, and other stakeholders to promote the service and its offerings.
Requirements
  • Recognized Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.
  • Health and Care Professions Council - Licence to Practice.
  • Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Post-graduate experience in a relevant specialist area.
  • Evidence of having received mentoring support in the relevant specialist area.
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision to Speech and Language Therapy students.
  • Experience of instigating and managing change.
