Business Development Representative

Are you passionate about business development and eager to make an impact within a fast-growing SaaS company?
This exciting position as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) is ideal for someone who wants to build the sales pipeline by utilising various channels such as marketing leads, social media, and self-generated prospects.
You will work closely with the sales team to ensure prospects have a seamless experience, from the initial contact to scheduling meetings. A proactive approach to reaching achievable KPIs is essential, and training and support will be provided.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating new sales opportunities through targeted prospecting and lead-generation activities.
- Contacting prospects initially via phone, email, and social media, introducing them to the software and identifying their needs.
- Managing and maintaining an accurate record of all prospect interactions using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Working collaboratively with the sales team to ensure booked meetings are appropriately scheduled and prospects are well-informed.
- Utilising advanced sales tools, including Salesloft and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, to enhance outreach efforts.
Requirements include:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in sales or business development.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence in speaking on the phone and via email.
- IT literate with experience in CRM software (Salesforce knowledge is a plus) and proficiency in tools like Excel and Outlook.
