Medical Education Training Coordinator

Job Summary
The Medical Education Training Coordinator will be responsible for managing the coordination, planning, compilation, and implementation of Medical Education Training Programmes for all Consultants, Staff Grades, Associate Specialists, Junior Doctors, GPs, and Medical Students throughout NHS Lanarkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan Medical Education Training Programmes to ensure maximum marketing and advertising.
- Manage business and project administration to support the delivery of Medical Education Training Programmes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Medical Education Training Programmes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide administrative support to the Medical Education Team to ensure the smooth operation of Medical Education Training Programmes.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Senior Administration, Business, and Training procedures acquired through training to HND Level with relevant experience within a training environment and/or Business Administration environment.
- Advanced keyboard skills and qualifications in-depth working knowledge and lengthy experience with complex IT packages, including Microsoft Publisher, Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, Access, PowerPoint, electronic Diaries/Calendars, and independent analysis of statistical data and producing publications in various formats for end users.
- Ability to work autonomously, managing and prioritizing own workload within the agreed overall target schedule.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and motivational skills/training and the ability to deal with and diffuse difficult situations/interactions.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience with databases.
- Previous experience of NHS.
- Experience of a similar role within training.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload within agreed targets.
Contract Type
- Fixed Term or Secondment for 1 year.
- Full time.
- 37 hours.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in the Medical Education Department within University Hospital Wishaw.
