Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at DPDgroup. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated equipment across our network of depots in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sortation equipment, including electrical and mechanical tasks
  • Respond to breakdowns and conduct extensive fault finding to minimize downtime
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks as required
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently and effectively
  • Adhere to and promote health and safety policies, including COSHH

Requirements:

  • Recognized engineering qualification (HND/HNC) with an electrical bias or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced automated environment with demonstrable experience of both electrical and mechanical repair
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong team player with a 'can-do' mentality and ability to self-manage
  • Demonstrate high levels of resilience, self-motivation, and flexibility
  • A full UK driving license is required for travel between depots
