About the Role

As a key member of our Asda Opticians team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation, including managing your team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, overseeing compliance processes and procedures, reviewing sales forecasting and department targets, and dealing with customer queries.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop your team to ensure high-quality patient service
  • Oversee clinic management and shop floor processes to ensure the department is well-equipped for customer needs
  • Work in close partnership with an Optometrist to coach and develop your team
  • Ensure the department meets its targets and provides excellent customer and patient care

Requirements

  • Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
  • Confident in coaching others
  • Able to provide excellent customer and patient care
  • Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
  • Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced Optics environment
  • Organised and able to manage your time effectively
