Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Business Support Officer within Integrated Children's Services at Kent County Council. The post is part-time (2 days a week), based at Invicta House with some home working.

Requirements

  • Good proficiency in use of ICT systems (MS Applications, Databases etc).
  • Confidence dealing with a variety of multi-disciplinary professionals.
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a highly demanding environment.

Working Environment

Working within a confidential environment, you will have the ability to take high-standard meeting minutes. You will have strong administrative and IT skills and the ability to collate and manage data.

You will use your initiative to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines in a highly demanding environment. You will need to have the confidence and ability to deal with a variety of multi-disciplinary professionals on a range of matters and the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
