About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Colloide. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, resourcing, and managing project delivery activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

The Project Manager will work closely with our Commercial Team to draw up individual project plans and budgets, ensuring milestones are met. They will also source suppliers based on bill of materials and engineering specifications, liaising with design engineers as needed.

As a key member of our team, the Project Manager will distribute documentation and drawings to subcontractors, conduct regular visits to review production, and ensure FAT tests/quality checks are performed prior to products leaving for site.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  2. Source and manage suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  3. Coordinate site preparation activities, including site surveys, haulage requirements, health & safety documentation, lifting equipment, labour resources, commissioning, testing, and client handover.
  4. Prepare and schedule project reports, monitoring progress and providing updates to stakeholders.
  5. Manage on-site H&S, Environmental, and Quality, working alongside our SHEQ Manager.
  6. Ensure overall quality control of the project, reporting as required on project status.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline (mechanical or similar).
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in a similar role.
  • A full current driving license and access to a car.
  • Proficient in MS Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Project.

Personal Specification:

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable, with travel requirements including the UK and Ireland.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
