Job Overview:

City Facilities Management is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team in Manchester or Merseyside. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple retail stores, ensuring the smooth operation of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units.

About the Role:
  • Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across various sites.
  • Servicing and repairing a range of mechanical equipment, including boilers, fans, pumps, AHU's, FCU's.
  • Performing minor alterations and installations within the individual's technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
  • Ordering spares in accordance with laid-down procedures.
  • Identifying non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advising the HVAC supervisor of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Heating/Ventilation Engineering, along with relevant industry experience. A strong understanding of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units is essential. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £46,865 per annum (inclusive of standby payment, overtime, travel time, 33 days holiday, private pension, and benefits, including private healthcare, life insurance, employee discounts).
