Job Overview

Glebe Farm Foods Ltd. is a leading independent business dedicated to producing high-quality, gluten-free oats for customers worldwide.

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team as a Multi Skilled Engineer.

This role will involve conducting Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), ensuring effective running of equipment, and minimizing downtime.

The successful candidate will possess a mechanical/electrical qualification or relevant experience, with previous experience in the food manufacturing industry being an advantage.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct PPM tasks to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure site PM and legal checks are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain Health & Safety processes and ensure compliance with current legislative standards.
  • Propose and implement site production improvements.
Requirements
  • Mechanical/electrical qualification or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience on steam pipe work, Boiler room BOAS Certification, HVAC, and chiller systems.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels.
