Job Title: Land Acquisition and Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition and Planning Specialist to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with previous experience of property management with a focus on strategic land processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential land acquisition opportunities to meet the Company's strategic objectives
  • Develop and implement effective planning strategies to secure planning permissions and promote the Company's interests
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including local planning authorities, landowners, and agents
  • Manage external consultant teams and ensure compliance with Company procedures, monitoring budgets and reporting progress
  • Submit planning appeals and manage the appeal process
  • Keep landowners and agents informed of progress and maintain contractual obligations
  • Contribute to the wider Land and Natural Resources team's efforts to identify new land opportunities and acquire sites under option
  • Provide expert advice to the operational business on planning permissions and related matters

Salary and Benefits:

Our competitive salary for this role is approximately £65,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including enhanced holiday entitlement, contributory pension scheme, access to the Tarmac Reward website, training and development opportunities, and more.
