At HCA Healthcare UK, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tier 1 Service Desk Analyst to join our IT Service Delivery Department.

Tier 1 Service Desk Analyst

HCA Healthcare UK's Information Technology Group (ITG) is a leading provider of healthcare IT services across the UK. Our team is responsible for delivering exceptional support and incident resolution to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking initial calls from users, resolving basic incidents and service requests, and gathering incident data before assigning to resolver groups. They will also coordinate responses to incident reports, minimizing negative impacts and restoring service as quickly as possible.

This role requires a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales or service desk support roles, as well as education or work experience in information technology. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including private healthcare insurance, a private pension contribution, and enhanced maternity and paternity pay.

Job Requirements:

  • Taking initial calls from users and resolving basic incidents and service requests.
  • Gathering incident data before assigning to resolver groups.
  • Coordinating responses to incident reports, minimizing negative impacts and restoring service as quickly as possible.
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
