We invite applications from experienced educators who can lead our Architecture and Engineering Education programme at the University of Cambridge.

Job Description

This full-time appointment will involve teaching problem-based design to architects and engineers, as well as contributing to curriculum development and supervising postgraduate research.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building structures and structural design in architecture or engineering, with experience in teaching design as a subject to architects and/or engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging studio classes on design.
  • Supervise and examine MPhil and PhD students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum materials.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess a doctoral degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, along with significant teaching experience and FHEA accreditation. Experience in curriculum development is highly desirable.

Benefits

The University of Cambridge offers a rewarding salary range of £55,000 - £85,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, health insurance, and annual leave.
