Job Opportunity: Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate ESOL educator to provide one-to-one English language support to young people in need.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and qualified ESOL tutor to deliver bespoke English language sessions to young people who require support in learning English as an Additional Language. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for transforming the lives of Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and vulnerable learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one English language sessions to young people in need
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with Prospero Teaching's consultants and Training and Development Team to ensure high-quality support

Requirements:

  • ESOL qualification (e.g., TEFL or CELTA)
  • Minimum 1-year experience in EAL tutoring
  • Confidence in teaching UASC
  • Recent safeguarding training or willingness to undergo Prospero's course
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references
