Salary:

Hourly rate: £17.00 to £22.00

Night out allowance: £25.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading goods onto/from vehicles
  • Transporting goods on pallets or in crates
  • Ensuring load security and safety standards
  • Stack empty pallets and maintain cleanliness of work area
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues promptly

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with site health & safety procedures (advantageous but not mandatory)
  • Strong team player with a diligent work ethic
  • Ability to work independently when required

About the Role:

As an HGV Class One Driver with Moffett License, you will be responsible for operating a general haulage company's fleet of vehicles. The role primarily involves box body work and requires you to spend 4 to 5 nights out per week. Shifts will be from Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities on weekends. You will be expected to transport goods on pallets or in crates, ensuring load security and safety standards are met. If you have a strong work ethic and are able to work independently, this could be the ideal role for you.
