About The Position

This role focuses on strengthening MWH Treatment's SHEQ team with an Environmental Advisor for our ESD joint venture framework. Located in the Stepps office, you will be responsible for traveling throughout the Central Belt region to support and deliver project environmental objectives and targets.

  • Monthly SSERs will be conducted on projects, adhering to the SSER Schedule and focusing on environmental aspects and Parent Company requirements.
  • You will perform regular advisory visits on projects to provide guidance and assistance to project teams.
  • Collaboration with design teams is essential, especially when reviewing outputs from initial site screening assessments.
  • As part of this role, you will lead environmental audits during the prepare and design phase of projects.
  • Support site teams by reviewing and completing environmental license applications and responding to planning conditions.
  • Liaising with client's regional environmental advisors (SW SSD Environment) is also key.
  • Training delivery, including BMS, will be part of your responsibilities.
  • Finally, participating in client-led initiatives and forums as necessary.
About You

We require a candidate with:

  • A degree-level qualification.
  • Full lifecycle experience working in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental auditing and regulations (SEPA/SNH).
