About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large two-form entry primary school with excellent facilities. The successful candidate will work with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within mainstream classes or in the dedicated special needs centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the classroom teacher to provide support for primary school students
  • Work with individual students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning and positive behaviour
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents/carers, and community members to create a holistic and supportive educational experience for all students

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working in Education or a similar setting
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers
  • Passion for education and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Reflective and engaging educator with the drive to make a positive difference in children's lives
