Job Title: Family Therapy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Therapy Specialist to join our team at For Babys Sake, an innovative therapeutic program dedicated to supporting co-parents in overcoming the effects of domestic abuse and creating a safe environment for their children to thrive. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering our trauma-informed program, working with co-parents individually to support a recovery framework and promote healthy attachment patterns.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in family therapy, with experience in safeguarding children and adults, infant mental health, and understanding the dynamics of domestic abuse and attachment. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with co-parents, providing a framework for deeper therapeutic exploration, and promoting engagement and understanding of the impact of their parenting experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver our trauma-informed program to co-parents, focusing on building healthy attachment patterns and promoting a safe environment for children
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with co-parents, providing a supportive and non-judgmental space for exploration and growth
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure fidelity to the program and sustainability of its ethos and values
• Provide training and support to other team members, ensuring consistency and quality in service delivery

Requirements:
• Strong background in family therapy, with experience in safeguarding children and adults, infant mental health, and understanding the dynamics of domestic abuse and attachment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with co-parents and other team members
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on delivering high-quality services
• Sound knowledge of child development research and its application to practice
• Demonstrable therapeutic skills, with experience in working with complex cases and challenging behaviors

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
