We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Executive to lead our team in advancing social change through art and culture. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of influencing philanthropy to shift power and building hybrid, place-based paradigms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and steward a healthy and welcoming organization, increase resources for local grantmaking, and continue to influence shifts in national philanthropy toward redistribution and ceding power.
- Lead the organization in place-based work, exploring flexible, inclusive, and intentional strategies for convening and working that uphold the value of radical hospitality while making best use of limited resources and responding to current norms and community needs.
- Strengthen organizational culture and development, honoring and fostering values and culture while further strengthening governance muscles.
- A nuanced understanding of equity and justice values and movements, with an analysis of and demonstrated approach to work that centers on shifting resources and building community power.
- Experience leading organizations or people and programs through change to new ways of working that deepen, broaden, or shift impact.
- Enthusiasm for place-based work and appreciation for the rich assets, diverse communities, and unique context of the Philadelphia area.
- Management experience, including financial management, operational oversight, and staff management and development.
