Assistant Management Accountant – UK Medical Devices

Exertis (UK) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Plymouth, UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial and commercial support to our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including month-end close tasks, to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business strategy.
  • Provide financial support to the business, including assistance with financial reporting, liaison with external audit, and preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance financial performance.
Requirements:
  • Full or part-time qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with previous accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • IT literate, with intermediate-level Excel experience and proficiency in SAP or SAGE.
  • A full UK driving license is required due to some ad-hoc travel.
