CNC Machinist Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing company as a CNC Machinist. The successful candidate will have experience of operating and setting CNC lathes and mills in the production of precision metallic components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machining a wide variety of metallic components to high specification
  • Using a variety of CNC lathes and mills
  • Batch testing using micrometres and verniers
  • Following detailed drawings and instruction
  • Completing batch paperwork and reporting any issues to the Inspection team

Requirements

  • Experience of operating or setting of CNC lathes or mills in production of precision metallic components
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to solve issues regarding machining processes
  • Ability to batch test using measuring devices and report abnormalities
  • Working to tight quality standards and upholding safe practices

About the Role

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for machining a wide range of metallic components to high specifications.
