This service, operating across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, provides intensive interventions and therapeutic support to young people aged 11-17 who require assistance in navigating challenging situations. Our strength-based approach focuses on empowering families and fostering positive change within their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver structured, evidence-based interventions to adolescents and their families, equipping them with problem-solving skills and resilience.
  • Provide a rapid response to children and families in crisis, mitigating escalating difficulties and preventing further breakdown.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for young people and their families.
Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with adolescents exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with carers and within a team environment.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential due to the nature of home visits.
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS clearance is mandatory.
