At Thrive, we're seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing remote client support and occasional on-site support, interacting with end-users in diverse computing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document unfamiliar client/server network environments to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Investigate networking incidents and consistently determine their causes.
  • Examine Unified Communications systems and identify causes of issues.
  • Utilize software utilities, Thrive's Protect software, and vendor-specific tools to resolve customer incidents quickly.
  • Monitor the service desk service board for escalated service tickets.
  • Prioritize tickets escalated from Technical Support Engineers.
  • Ensure open service tickets are escalated and addressed by Technical Support Engineers.
  • Follow Thrive's best practices for escalating tickets.
  • Monitor and maintain client network performance, including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, routers, firewalls, and switches.
  • Provide network performance statistics and reports.
  • Update network equipment with the latest firmware releases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience designing network architectures, including LAN/WAN networking.
  • Experience troubleshooting network configuration and hardware issues.
  • Knowledge and experience with infrastructure/network technologies.

  • CompTIA Network+
