Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solution Architect with expertise in cloud data platforms to join our FalconSmartIT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions on AWS and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement cloud data platforms: Develop and maintain data strategies, data management systems, data warehouses, and ETL pipelines on AWS and Snowflake.
  2. Lead data & AI projects: Guide cross-functional teams in delivering data-driven solutions, assess data landscapes, and provide expert guidance on tool or platform portfolio rationalisation.
  3. Expertise in AWS and Snowflake: Possess in-depth knowledge of various AWS services, including EC2, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Quicksight, and Sagemaker, as well as Snowflake's architecture and features.
  4. Proficiency in data consumption design patterns: Develop semantic layers and visualizations to enable business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
  5. MLOps experience: Implement machine learning operations projects and maintain an active learning approach to stay current with industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 13-17 years of work experience: Proven track record of delivering data and AI projects in reputable Data & AI services firms.
  • Relevant technical certifications: Hold certifications from AWS and Snowflake.
  • Business acumen: Strong understanding of the business landscape in the UK and Europe.
  • Communication skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for compelling storytelling.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10-20% of the time, primarily within the UK and sometimes within Europe.
