About Us

Red Bull Technology is a leading player in the world of Formula 1, and we're looking for an experienced Electronics Support Engineer to join our team. As part of our Electronics Support Group, you'll be responsible for all aspects of electrical and electronic support of our factory and rig systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • System setup, failed component reporting, fault diagnosis and resolution, ensuring electrical systems are set up and configured fully and correctly built and tested to meet event build specifications.
  • Monitoring and assessing electrical systems' health alongside other main systems on the rig, assisting with control and maintenance of spares and equipment required to fulfill the role.

Requirements

  1. Currently working within a similar role within F1 Electronics and Control Systems, including ATLAS and System Monitor.
  2. Experience using MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow.
  3. Experience in all types of electrical and electronic installations, including MIL specification wiring installations and sensor technologies.
  4. Hold a degree or equivalent within an electronics discipline, combined with relevant experience of motorsport electrical and electronic systems.
  5. Demonstrate high self-motivation and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  6. Good communication skills and ability to work within tight timescales essential.
  7. Ability to read and write simple code in VBA, XML, Python.
  8. Familiarity with using an oscilloscope to measure and capture analogue and digital signals.
  9. Familiarity with debugging CAN issues using tools such as Vector CANalyzer or similar, advantageous but not essential.
